Rose is a passionate human resources practitioner with over 15 years experience in both Australasia and the United Kingdom. Her leading areas of practice are talent planning, and learning and development. This has included competency identification, learning needs analysis, design and delivery of leadership and soft skills training, building performance and development frameworks, and coaching. Rose is focused on developing effective blended learning solutions which can involve learning online, experiential activities, action learning, on the job development, mentoring, coaching, and workshop training. She is also a skilled project manager. Rose is known for building relationships quickly at all levels within an organisation, and is accustomed to handling sensitive and challenging situations with integrity. She is flexible and versatile with an ability to easily transcend differences and embrace diversity. She thrives in collaborative and deadline-driven environments.
Rose has worked in a broad range of industries, and for medium to large sized businesses including New Zealand Trade & Enterprise (NZTE), ANZ, Icebreaker, EDF Energy, Northern Trust, and Flight Centre. She has a Honours in Business Communication and a Bachelor of Business Management from the University of Queensland, Australia. Rose is a certified professional in Learning and Performance (ATD, Association of Talent & Development). She holds accreditations in MBTI Step I & II, Team Management System (TMI), Benchmarks (Executives), and 360 Degree Feedback (UK). She has a BPS psychometric qualification in Level A & B (UK), and has completed the Prince2 Project Methodology. She is currently gaining her international ICF coaching certification, and Diploma of Positive Psychology and Well Being.
Rose loves surfing, and whilst working at NZTE she also ran a surf school in Ahipara, Northland for three years. Rose has a keen interest in supporting social services and environmental regeneration in her local community.
