Strategy, leadership, change, sales

Sandy is focused on making a difference and helping people succeed.  She believes that engagement and leadership are intimately entwined. Engagement brings results – it matters, and great leadership is at its core. That’s why she enjoys growing great leaders and partnering with businesses to help make them awesome places to work. Leadership is a privilege, it should be a joy, but it can get tough going. That’s where Sandy can assist. Her clients are amazed at what they can achieve in a short time.

She has had more than 20 years working as an executive coach, facilitator, trainer and consultant in leadership, sales and change.  Sandy brings to her clients a mix of creating customer value, business acumen, empathy, theory and practical experience. She shares tips, tools and strategies that are easy to implement and most importantly work. Sandy has walked the talk. She has led large corporate teams, and coached at all levels from chief executives to rookies. She has worked with great teams and has turned around underperforming ones, and trains in most industry sectors. Prior to establishing her own leadership consultancy EngageU, Sandy was a Director of Business Development for Minter Ellison Rudd Watts, and a Director of international leadership and sales performance consultancy, rogenSi. Earlier in her career she had sales and marketing management roles at Astra Pharmaceuticals. Clients say Sandy is encouraging, full of energy and enthusiasm, and sees potential connections where others may not. A doer and a relator, she is able to help maximise any idea or situation with her clients.

Sandy has a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing from University of Auckland. She completed the Strategic Transnational Education Program (Leadership Development) at the International Management Development Institute (IMD) in Switzerland. She is an accredited executive coach with Results Coaching Systems, and a practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and DISC.

When away from her desk, you can usually find Sandy out walking her dog along the waterfront or around the many gorgeous Eastern Bays parks, and doing pilates or yoga with an equally passionate group of friends.  She is a movie, theatre and art lover, spending many Saturdays visiting Auckland galleries with Art Explore. Sandy worries about the many lonely people in our neighbourhoods and has recently joined the Age Concern Visiting Programme.
